Cut Off Company Gets 1-Year, $9.1M Navy Contract Extension

CUT OFF, LA (AP) — A company in Cut Off has a one-year, $9.1 million extension to a Navy contract chartering the maritime support vessel MV C-Champion.

         The contract with Offshore Service Vessels Inc. was among those in the Pentagon's daily list of contracts on Wednesday.

         It says the C-Champion is used worldwide as a platform for small boat launch and recovery, refueling and provisioning, and limited maintenance.

         The contract is with the Navy's Military Sealift Command in Norfolk, Virginia.
