GONZALES, LA (AP) — Crown Crafts Infant Products, a subsidiary of Gonzales-based baby products maker Crown Crafts, has signed a licensing agreement with Petunia Pickle Bottom for luxury infant bedding, blankets, bibs and bath products.
Petunia Pickle Bottom is best known for diaper bags, using original, fashionable silhouettes and bold colors and prints. Designer DeNai Jones founded the company in 2000, using the nickname her father gave her.
Nanci Freeman, president and chief executive officer of Crown Crafts Infant Products, tells The Advocate Petunia Pickle Bottom has since become "one of the most prestigious and established brands" of high-end diaper bags. The new products will be both fashionable and colorfully patterned.
Petunia Pickle Bottom products are sold in more than 1,000 boutiques and department stores worldwide.
