NEW ORLEANS – More than 600 people attended Crimestopper’s Blues Night event Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at The House of Blues.
A video was aired – a tribute to officers who lost their lives in the line of duty since Katrina, which received an emotional reception from the officers’ families.
Organizers said the video expressed an important message of appreciation to those officers and their families for their selfless bravery, sacrifice and service to our communities, and shared a message of support for law enforcement.
The officers’ families who were recognized included:
