NEW ORLEANS – Tommy's Restaurant Group, consisting of Tommy’s Cuisine, Tomas Bistro, Tommy’s Wine Bar and The Gallery, all located along the 700 block of Tchoupitoulas Street in the Warehouse District, has been sold to Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts.
According to The New Orleans Advocate’s Ian McNulty, Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts has no plans to change New Orleans restaurateur Tommy Andrade’s former venues.
Creole Cuisine reps told McNulty, Andrade will remain with the company to operate the restaurants, along with its current staff.
In a statement to McNulty, Creole Cuisine CEO Marv Ammari said, “We love Tommy’s restaurants and wouldn’t want to change a thing, not even the butter. We will keep the traditions that make them beloved New Orleans favorites—menus, décor and staff will all remain the same—and we look forward to having Tommy there each day. He is the heart of the restaurants and he belongs there.”
Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts’ portfolio of restaurants and event spaces include Broussard’s Restaurant, Kingfish, The Bombay Club, Boulevard American Bistro, Royal House Oyster Bar, Bayou Burger & Sports Company, Le Bayou Restaurant, Pier 424 Seafood Market, Chartres House, Café Maspero, Pierre Maspero’s, Creole House Restaurant and Oyster Bar, Bourbon Vieux, Marche, Big Easy Cafés and Daiquiris.
