MISSION

Cox’s mission is to connect our customers to the people and things they care about most.

METHODS

Cox gives back to the community through donations of both time and money. In 2019, employees throughout the Southeast donated more than $170,000 to the Cox Charities program, which offered eight local grants to New Orleans nonprofits to support community programs and projects. Grant recipients were Educare New Orleans, Raphael Village, The First 72+, Operation Restoration, Angels’ Place, Luke’s House, Upturn Arts and Kingsley House, Inc.

Local employees read and processed the applications, which allowed them to determine the best impact of their dollars. The grants were funded via the generosity of Cox employees, who gave from their own paychecks to support these organizations.
