COVINGTON – Going out to the movies seems like an activity from another lifetime – but not for long.
Marcus Theatres announced the Aug. 28 opening of Covington Cinema in Covington. Operators say the theater will follow enhanced protocols in accordance with current local health and safety guidelines. Measures includes social distancing, thorough cleaning and sanitizing, low-contact ordering and “respect for all guests and associates.” Moviegoers will be required to wear masks except when eating or drinking. Employees will undergo a wellness check prior to their shift, wear face masks – and wear gloves when appropriate. Plexiglass is located in various transactional areas. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the facility.
