COVINGTON – Watch Systems, creator of the nation’s leading sex offender registry network and community notification solution, OffenderWatch, today announced it has appointed Ben Luzynski as the company’s new CEO, effective immediately. The announcement came on the heels of former CEO Lou Luzynski’s plans to retire and continue to serve the company as a managing partner and board member. Ben Luzynski previously served as Executive Vice President of Watch Systems and OffenderWatch.
“It has been an honor leading Watch Systems and our OffenderWatch product for more than 15 years, as we help law enforcement around the country better manage sex offenders and keep the public safe,” said Lou Luzynski, former CEO of Watch Systems. “I am confident that under the leadership of my son, Ben, our team will help close the gap in data and communication silos currently found across local, state and federal law enforcement agencies when monitoring and alerting on registered sex offenders.”
Ben has more than 15 years of experience at OffenderWatch, starting as a web developer before refining his technology and programming skills as Vice President of IT and then as the Executive Vice President. Ben conceived the idea of OffenderWatch FOCUS, a newly launched technology that helps law enforcement better evaluate which sex offenders may need closer monitoring—and prioritizing their time and resources accordingly.
Commenting on his appointment, Ben Luzynski said, “I am grateful and humbled to lead Watch Systems through this next chapter. We look forward to continuing to be partners in public safety as the go-to solution for law enforcement agencies across the U.S. and beyond.”

About Watch Systems’ OffenderWatch Solution
There are more than 800,000 registered sex offenders in the United States. Most states have a different system for tracking these offenders, making it difficult for agencies to keep records when the offenders cross state lines. The OffenderWatch Network is the largest sex offender registry system in the U.S., working with more than 3,400 local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in 36 states. Founded in 2000 in Covington, La. under the Watch Systems company, OffenderWatch has expanded to include data on registered sex offenders from sheriffs’ offices, police departments, Attorney Generals’ offices, U.S. Marshal judicial districts, U.S. attorneys, federal and state probation and parole agents, department of corrections, Indian tribes, and more. The network delivers greater efficiency with technology, policy and procedure regarding sex offender monitoring and community notification. Learn more at OffenderWatch.com.
