Councils within the HBA of Greater New Orleans provide a unique opportunity to network with like-minded professionals in the various niches of the construction industry. Each group has its own personality, and hold regular meetings, education seminars, roundtables, and networking events throughout the year.
Helmut Mundt (pictured above) joined the Home Builders Association of GNO in 2007. He began actively engaging members immediately and got involved with many of the organization’s committees and events. Helmut has served on the Associates Committee and currently serves as Membership Committee Chair. He became a Board of Directors Member at GNO in 2009 and developed an insurance Program to help Builder Members, which led to his involvement at Louisiana State and National levels of Home Builders Association. He has expanded the insurance Program to five States and is looking to keep it growing. Helmut co-founded TownPros, a consumer interfacing site for the HBA Member Directory to bring more business to members. Helmut will also be the National Association of Home Builders Membership Committee Chairman for 2019. His dedication and hard work are greatly valued by the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans.
