NEW ORLEANS – Copa Airlines will celebrate its first international nonstop flight from New Orleans to Panama City, Panama, tomorrow, Thursday, June 25, 2015, at the Louis Armstrong International Airport.
Reps say Copa’s four-times-weekly nonstop service will serve as the gateway to Latin America, connecting New Orleans to the hub of the Americas in Panama City, and will provide connectivity to more than 55 destinations throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
New Orleans will be Copa’s 11th U.S. destination and its 71st destination overall.
Scheduled to attend the inaugural flight event are Fernando Fondevila, Commercial Regional Manager – North America, Copa Airlines and Walter Krygowski, Deputy Director and Chief Operations Officer, New Orleans Aviation Board.
