NEW ORLEANS – Congressman Cedric Richmond is hosting his 6th Annual Small Business Expo on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at Delgado Community College, City Park Campus, Student Life Center, Building 23.
A special breakfast talk by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office starts at 10:15 a.m., and will be directed at informing small businesses about the patent/ trademark processes and helping them figure out how they can benefit.
The free, interactive Small Business Expo will run from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., and feature 40 exhibitors including federal agencies, lenders and business development groups. Attendees will meet with large private companies to learn about contracting opportunities, lenders to help with financing and business development groups to get information about programs to help grow their businesses.
