HOUSTON, TX – Coats Rose, P.C., a leading business transaction and litigation law firm, announces the addition of three attorneys to the firm’s Houston and Dallas offices. Joining the Houston office is Kristen Bollinger in the real estate section, along with Julie Moeller in the construction and surety section. Elizabeth Minton joins the Dallas office in the firm’s public finance and affordable housing sections.
Bollinger joins the Houston office as an associate in the firm’s real estate section. Her practice focuses on the acquisition, financing and development of properties for retail, multifamily, office and mixed-uses. She counsels clients in the leasing of retail and office properties. Bollinger has additional experience in affordable housing, and has worked on a variety of transactions to acquire and lease land for industrial projects.
Moeller joins the Houston office as an associate in the construction and surety, litigation, and insurance coverage sections. Her practice includes complex commercial, oil and gas, construction, and personal injury litigation, as well as insurance coverage advice and litigation. Before rejoining Coats Rose, Moellor was an associate in New York, focusing on litigating commercial insurance coverage and reinsurance disputes. Prior to becoming an attorney, Moellor served in the United States Air Force from 1996 to 2000.
Minton will join the Dallas office as an associate in the public finance and affordable housing sections. She has a background in the issuance of municipal bond offerings for state agencies and large-scale North Texas entities, serving as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, and underwriters’ counsel. A native of Dallas, Minton returned to Dallas following her graduation from law school in 2012. Minton also has experience in preparing corporate acquisition documents and in preparing organizational documents for nonprofit organizations.
