'Co-Working Week' Brings Entrepreneurs, Startups Under One Roof In Lower Garden District, For Free

NEW ORLEANS, LA — Following the incredible success of NOLA Tech Week in showcasing the city as a major hub in the national technology scene, New Orleans' newest incubator has gone from hosting speakers to hosting startups at no charge for the entire week of October 12-16, 2015.

The Landing Zone, a new 20,000 square foot co-working space and small business incubator in the Lower Garden District, 625 Celeste St., will host startups and entrepreneurs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day this week to showcase and celebrate the benefits of shared work environments. The week will feature free events highlighting New Orleans unique coworking spaces, including speaker sessions on work/ life balance, HR, working with the government and, of course, happy hours.

Desks, offices, meeting rooms, WiFi, local coffee, and more are all available to visiting guests for free all week at this ideal spot for locals to meet entrepreneurs and other professionals while getting some work done.

New Orleans is no stranger to coworking spaces, now hosting more than five large spaces for creative and entrepreneurial individuals who collaborate and work alongside one another.

"The opportunity for new and young businesses to help each other is the primary reason that coworking spaces have become so popular in the United States, said Bob Armbruster, founder of The Landing Zone. "New Orleans's startups in new and traditional fields can help each other to become successful much faster than going it alone."
