The Women’s Business Enterprise Council South is celebrating the grand opening of the WB Collective New Orleans from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 at 401 St. Joseph St. The WB Collective New Orleans is a 7,000 square-foot shared office and event space accessible to and powered by a community of women-owned businesses and the network that supports them. The event will feature a ribbon cutting, giveaways from women-owned businesses, tours of the space, a Women-Owned Wonderland pop-up marketplace, food and drinks, and a professional clothing drive to help local women launch their careers.
Members of the Collective will be able to host meetings, catch up on emails, attend panel discussions, network with potential customers and connect with the WBEC South team in a sophisticated, professional environment. Women-owned businesses that helped create the space include Colmex Construction, M2 Brokerage, Sydney Anderson Realty LLC, KV Workspace LLC and Perez APC.
Co-working space is available for daily/monthly lease and rentable event space will feature a pop-up marketplace that showcases various women-owned products on rotation.
