In order to provide more job opportunities for residents, the Job Fair will supply information about how residents can pre-qualify to work with the City’s contractors following a disaster. All interested residents over the age of 18 are invited to attend.

The City is also inviting members of the business community who are interested in subcontracting opportunities that would help the City recover from a disaster. In particular, companies with equipment such as tandem trucks (at least 18 cubic yards), self-loaders, roll-offs, bulldozers, forestry trucks, skid steers and front end loaders may qualify for subcontracting opportunities. All interested businesses, especially small and local businesses and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to attend.
