NEW ORLEANS – During American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA) Field Demonstration Day, mosquito control districts, government and non-profit organizations and industry experts from across the nation will demonstrate the latest technology in equipment, methodology, mosquito surveillance and lab testing for mosquito-borne diseases. There will also be a series of short educational presentations throughout the event that takes place today, Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at 12:00 p.m., at the New Orleans Mosquito, Termite and Rodent Control Board (NOMTRC) headquarters, 2100 Leon C. Simon Dr.
This is the City’s 6th time to host the Annual Meeting of the AMCA.
Dr. Claudia Riegel, director of the New Orleans Mosquito, Termite and Rodent Control Board (NOMTRC), will be in attendance.
