NEW ORLEANS – Today, Mayor Mitch Landrieu, City officials and FEMA will break ground on NORDC’s new $1.8 million Rosenwald Pool and Pool House, located at 1120 South Broad Street in the B.W. Cooper neighborhood, at 2:00 p.m.
The former pool and pool house were severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina. The new Rosenwald Pool and Pool House will open in time for next summer’s NORDC summer swim season.
Last month, the City opened the new $8.5 million Rosenwald Center.
