NEW ORLEANS (press release) – New Orleans City Park announced, this week, its first job fair as it begins plans to reopen the Carousel Gardens Amusement Park.
The Park will host an on-site job fair on June 1, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Pavilion of the Two Sisters at 1 Victory Avenue, in New Orleans. City Park is looking to fill positions for everything from ride operators to snowball attendants, as well as catering, marketing, security and groundskeeping professionals.
“This is a key landmark for City Park as we begin to work toward the reopening of the Carousel Gardens Amusement Park,” said Cara Lambright, City Park CEO. “We are excited to invite our community back into the Amusement Park and look forward to meeting all of the candidates during our job fair.”
Applicants who visit the job fair for Amusement Park, grounds or sales and catering departments may have the opportunity to interview with the City Park team. Those who qualify, may be hired on the spot. All applicants are subject to a drug test, background check and employment verification.
