NEW ORLEANS – Beginning Monday, June 22, 2015, at 7:00 a.m., the 1500 block of Antonine Street between St. Charles Avenue and Prytania Street will be closed to vehicular access for approximately two weeks. The closure will allow workers to excavate a portion of the roadway, replace the base and install pavement.
During construction there will be no on-street parking. Access to parking lots will be maintained on Antonine St. to and from St. Charles Ave.
Construction crews will be working from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work on Saturdays may occur when necessary.

Residents should exercise caution when driving, bicycling or walking near active construction sites.
