NEW ORLEANS – The City will host a public meeting about the Armstrong Park Jazz Complex on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at the Sojourner Truth Community Center, 220 Lafitte Ave. at Galvez Street, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
During this meeting, City leaders will address the options available for funding and restoration and how the process of restoration will proceed. In October 2015, City leaders held a design session, during which stakeholders recommended guidelines for the future of the Complex; the notes from that design session will also be presented.
The public is invited to attend and comment.
