City Celebrates StriveNOLA Workforce Training Program

NEW ORLEANS – Today, Mayor Landrieu and Ashleigh Gardere, Senior Adviser, Economic Opportunity, participated in a 10:45 a.m. graduation ceremony for the fourth cohort of the City’s intensive workforce training program, StriveNOLA, at Delgado Community College’s City Park Campus.

This initiative trains the most disadvantaged and hardest to employ residents for career opportunities.

Upon completing the four week job-readiness training program graduates have the opportunity to enter free sector-specific technical training and are prepared for potential employment opportunities on large infrastructure projects.
