NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Wine & Food Experience is hosting its annual Vintner Dinners on Thursday, May 25, at 24 different New Orleans restaurants. The vintner dinners kick off the 25th Anniversary of NOWFE with multi-course menus perfectly pair with a different winery at each restaurant.
“The chefs and vintners have worked together to carefully craft menus designed to bring out the nuances of flavors of both the food and the wine,” states Jamie Peckenpaugh, NOWFE executive director.
Local chefs will showcase their talent while presenting new and exciting menus to match the top vintages presented in each course. Wine principals, often the winemakers or winery owners, will be on hand at each dinner to provide tasting notes, answer questions and interact with guests. The intimate dinners also provide an opportunity to mingle with the chef and winemakers on a more personal level.

NOWFE has raised more than $1 million for local nonprofit organizations. This year, the Culinary Arts Program at Nunez Community College will be the sole beneficiary.
