NEW ORLEANS – In its 36th annual program, “Changing Landscapes: Business Leaders Taking Action,” the Tulane Business Forum features a group of notable business leaders who will share how they adapted to disruptions faced within their specific industries and how they took action to achieve success.
This year’s forum features keynote speakers Thomas L. Ryan, president and CEO of Service Corporation International (Houston), and Warner L. Thomas, president and CEO of Ochsner Health System (New Orleans). Ryan will talk about the importance of remaining relevant to the customer in an ever-changing consumer landscape, an integral part of SCI’s business strategy. Understanding the company’s competitive advantages and leveraging those advantages to deliver on its strategy increases the odds of success.
Thomas will share how Ochsner plans to embrace the many changes and disruptions occurring in health care today and help lead the way in improving the delivery of healthcare services, by making their belief of providing high quality, coordinated care at a lower cost, a reality.
The Tulane Business Forum, underwritten by Brennan’s Restaurant and The New Orleans Advocate, and sponsored by the Tulane Association of Business Alumni, will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015, from 8:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
