NEW ORLEANS – From the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce:
The chamber will host its 2024 Spring Luncheon featuring Gov. Jeff Landry’s New Orleans Transition Council on Friday, Mar. 1 at the New Orleans Marriott in the Acadia Room. Registration and networking will take place at 11 a.m. followed by the program and luncheon at 12 p.m.
E. Paige Sensenbrenner, the co-chair of the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee, will moderate a panel discussion. The Governor’s New Orleans Transition Council, led by Boysie Bollinger, was established to identify the most pressing challenges in New Orleans and to discuss and propose solutions to those challenges. To date, the Council has identified crime, lack of education/workforce and a declining infrastructure as the preeminent issues impacting New Orleans.
