NEW ORLEANS – Chaffe McCall L.L.P is pleased to announce that Leah N. Engelhardt, a partner in the firm's New Orleans office, has been elected as a Fellow in the American College of Coverage Counsel (ACCC). ACCC is considered to be the country’s leading honorary organization for U.S. practicing insurance attorneys. Election to the college is by invitation only through a rigorous evaluation process. Lawyers are selected for their integrity, outstanding legal ability, and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of insurance law. Details were shared in a press release.
This national organization is comprised of over 300 preeminent lawyers involved in coverage and extracontractual matters, with Fellows representing both policyholders and insurers and Honorary members from academia. Established in 2012, the College is focused on the creative, ethical, and efficient adjudication of insurance coverage and extra-contractual disputes, peer-provided scholarship, professional coordination and the improvement of the relationship between and among its diverse members.
Engelhardt is the Practice Area Coordinator of Chaffe McCall’s Insurance section. New Orleans City Business recently selected her as a “Women of the Year” honoree. Leah was also listed in The Best Lawyers in America® guide for Insurance Law and Insurance Litigation. She was elected for inclusion in Louisiana Super Lawyers for Insurance Coverage and named as a Top Lawyer in Insurance Law, by New Orleans Magazine. Leah has over two decades of diverse experience in national insurance litigation and counseling domestic and London Market insurers.
