Celebrity Entrepreneur Bill Rancic To Host Capital One Spark Business Event

NEW ORLEANS – On Wednesday, June 10, 2015, Capital One Spark Business, with the help of Bill Rancic, winner of NBC’s first season of The Apprentice, and Gene Marks, Washington Post columnist, author and small business owner, will host an exclusive, invite-only event for small business owners to discuss ways to attract and retain customers in 2015.

         At the event, from 4:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m., at 610 S. Peters St., Capital One Spark Business will discuss new research that highlights the unique needs of small business owners, shed light on effective small business marketing strategies and address the importance of mentorship for business owners. Rancic and Marks will host an interactive discussion with an opportunity for audience members to ask questions.

         The event will also celebrate a partnership between Capital One and Pacific Community Ventures, with a $250,000 grant to launch BusinessAdvising.org, a new mentoring platform that matches small businesses with expert advisors in marketing, finance and technology.

         Following the discussion, there will be a question-and-answer session and Rancic will conduct a book signing from 6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
