CBNO’s Diana Lewis Citizen Participation Award Winners, Sponsor Opportunities Announced

NEW ORLEANS – Committee For A Better New Orleans will host its 6th Annual Diana Lewis Citizen Participation Awards luncheon on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 601 Loyola Ave., from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

         The keynote speaker will be Sen. Mary Landrieu and the 2015 Honorees are Sandy Rosenthal and The League of Women Voters of New Orleans.

         Honorary event co-chairs will be Ashton Ryan, Jr. and Michael Smith and CBNO President Keith Twitchell will be the Master of Ceremonies.

         The purpose of the Citizen Participation Award is to honor an individual and/ or organization that has made a significant contribution to the Empowerment of Citizens to be Agents of Change and to celebrate civic engagement in New Orleans. Recipients have demonstrated leadership in mobilizing groups of citizens and harnessing energies to help make New Orleans a better place.
