NEW ORLEANS – Argent Trust Company announced in a press release that Catherine Gotzkowsky has joined the company as trust associate in the New Orleans office. Argent Trust Company is a division of Argent Financial Group (AFG), a leading independent fiduciary wealth management firm.
She reports to Mark Milton, director of institutional services at Argent, and will be responsible for working closely with clients and administration of trust and investment accounts.
Gotzkowsky has 28 years of diverse work experience, including banking operations, sales and compliance. Most recently, she was vice president and business relationship manager for Chase Bank. Prior to that, she spent more than 25 years at Capital One Bank in operations, private banking, business banking and management.
“We are excited to have Cathy join us as we continue to grow our presence in New Orleans,” Milton said. “Her background in working with a diverse group of businesses and clients fits perfectly into our mission of providing premiere fiduciary services to our southern Louisiana clients.”
Gotzkowsky has earned multiple past employee awards during her career, including being named Volunteer of the Year for two years in a row, as well as numerous recognitions for top sales, top banker and more.
“I’ve spent the majority of my professional life working at large financial institutions where I’ve gained a tremendous amount of industry knowledge and achieved high performance goals,” said Gotzkowsky. “Argent’s culture gives me a sense of home and security, but with the resources of a large corporation. A native of New Orleans, Gotzkowsky is a graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican High School. She is active in the community and as a metalsmith and owner of CC GOTZ Designs, which designs and sells fine jewelry at festivals and trunk shows across the region.
