BILOXI, MS (AP) — A casino industry veteran with Gulf Coast ties has been named general manager of the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino.
Marcus Glover will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the casino resort and provide direction and leadership. That's according to a release from MGM Resorts International received by The Sun Herald.
Glover most recently served as senior vice president and general manager for Caesars in Northeast Ohio, the state's first gaming establishment and jurisdiction.
Prior to that, Glover was assistant general manager and vice president of operations for Harrah's in St. Louis, where he oversaw hospitality operations.
He was on the Gulf Coast between 2003 and 2008 and spearheaded many casino projects in Mississippi and Louisiana.
