Capitol City Produce Announces Three New Vice Presidents

BATON ROUGE, La. – Capitol City Produce, a locally owned regional produce distributor, is announced in a press release the promotion of three executives to newly created vice president positions. Advancing to these new positions are Mike Fruge as vice president of sales; Caleb Prejean as vice president of operations; and Devin Roy as vice president of administration and chief financial officer. Roy assumes new responsibility for information services and employee relationships and development. Combined, they have over six decades of experience in their respective fields.

“The areas of sales, operations and finance form a large part of our company’s foundation and are pivotal to realizing the assertive growth plans of Capitol City Produce,” said Darin Arceneaux, president of Capitol City Produce. “With new opportunities on the horizon, we feel it is the right time to proactively structure our business to ensure we continue to execute with ease and speed as the scale of our business continues to grow.”

The company’s recent expansion from 40,000 to 90,000 square feet, acquisition of Table Fresh, implementation of new technologies, expansion of service to the Alabama coast and introduction of new product lines has the company positioned to serve its customers more extensively.
