GENTILLY, LA – Throughout October, Capital One Bank associates are banding together to support local nonprofits and help meet the needs of communities where associates live and work.
As part of the effort, Capital One Bank associates sponsored and participated in a volunteer Gentilly Community Day of Caring, during which they cleared an overgrown lot on Press Drive. In 2011, Capital One launched its Gentilly Place-Based Initiative, a multi-faceted community revitalization project created by Capital One Bank to serve as a catalyst for the redevelopment of the Gentilly neighborhoods in New Orleans. The Gentilly PBI represents a strategic investment by Capital One Bank to enhance and expand economic opportunities for families and businesses in Gentilly.
