DALLAS, TX – Capital One announced that Bob McCarrick has joined its Middle Market banking team as Executive Vice President and Head of Middle Market Relationships. In this role, he is responsible for regional Middle Market banking efforts throughout the East Coast and in Texas, Louisiana and neighboring states. He will also oversee specialty lending teams and will look to strategically expand the business into new specialty industries and financing products. McCarrick reports to Rob Stuart, Executive Vice President and Head of Middle Market Banking.
“Bob brings a wealth of experience to Capital One, and we will greatly benefit from his deep expertise and understanding of middle market banking,” Stuart said. “I look forward to working with him to grow our middle market business.”
McCarrick joins Capital One from GE Capital, where he spent 23 years in various business and leadership roles. He most recently served as the Chief Commercial Officer for Corporate Finance, leading the direct lending and equipment loan business for GE Capital in the United States.

McCarrick recently moved to Dallas, Texas, where he will be based. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
