Canal Place is preparing for the holiday season by offering extended hours, complimentary family entertainment and in-store specials from Canal Place’s designer boutiques from Nov. 29 through Dec. 24. On the Friday after Thanksgiving, there will be live music, complimentary coffee, pastries and mimosas from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, volunteers will host a holiday toy drive. Bring a new, unwrapped toy or monetary donation for admission into the event. Includes music, auction, games, food, drinks and and appearance from Santa.
Throughout the month, there will also be regular school choir performances, food trucks on Fridays and, on Dec. 14, the chance to take a photo with Santa from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
