NEW ORLEANS – The Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Inc. has named George Raymond Seamon, Jr. as a C100 member.
Seamon, Jr. serves as Senior Vice President with First NBC Bank located in New Orleans. C100 reps said Seamon, Jr.’s marketing, administrative and managerial abilities have enabled him to establish and successfully grow several businesses throughout his career. His accomplishments and professional integrity have been lauded by his business and community peers.
Seamon, Jr. graduated from Xavier University with a licensed degree in pharmacy. He founded IMR Corporation, a medical supply and safety equipment distribution company servicing the commercial and industrial marketplace, one of multiple businesses he founded during his career.
Seamon, Jr. has served on civic and community organization’s Boards in the Metropolitan New Orleans Region to include: the GNO, Inc. Executive Board, the Jefferson Parish ED Board (JEDCO), Jefferson Business Council, Northshore Business Council, City Park Board, Metropolitan Crime Comm. (MCC), Christian Brothers Foundation, Jefferson Chamber, W. St. Tammany Chamber and statewide organizations to include Blue Print Louisiana, Louisiana Chemical Industry Association, Associated Builders and Contractors Association, Louisiana State Pharmaceutical Association, and World Trade Center.
