Burris Launches TV Ads In Campaign For Northshore Judge

COVINGTON, LA – William H. Burris became the only candidate in the race for Judge in Division E of the 22nd Judicial District (Washington and St. Tammany Parishes) to launch a television campaign.

Burris has produced a total of eight 30-second spots, five of which began rotating on Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC in both Northshore parishes. Because of Cox zoning, viewers in Tangipahoa Parish and Picayune, Mississippi, will also see the commercials.

Next week, the TV campaign expands to broadcast networks on WWL, WDSU, WVUE and WGNO, and to non-news cable stations in the Cox and AT&T U-verse sphere. Three additional spots will be added to the run on Sept. 25, for a total of eight 30-second ads. Rotation will increase as Early Voting begins on Sept. 30, and again in the lead-up to Election Day on Oct. 14.

"We're committed to victory, and the donors and supporters of our campaign have made this possible," said Burris. "Since we announced in May, I've spent every day meeting voters, walking neighborhoods and knocking on doors, attending events, and out-working our opponent. We're not going to stop until Election Day, and the TV campaign is just one phase of our final push."

All eight of the spots are positive, promoting Burris' commitment to the law, the Constitution, faith and family, reps said. A lawyer in private practice, Burris has handled criminal, civil, domestic and insurance cases from offices in Covington and Franklinton. He and his wife, Lacy, have two daughters.
