Burk Brokerage

Second Generation

Business is in the Burk family blood—after founding Burk Brokerage in 2000, Billy and GiGi Burk have expanded their footprint and expertise with a variety of family businesses owned and managed by them, their children, and their larger family.

“Our core purpose in opening our businesses was to create an opportunity for all to willingly focus efforts and ideas in places that promote respect, honor, value, and profitability and to do so in a way that’s rewarding and enjoyable to our employees, agents, community and clients,” says Billy Burk, owner of Burk Construction & Development, managing partner of Burk Brokerage, and CEO of Starlight Studios.

Known as “Your New Orleans Neighborhood Real Estate Specialist” Burk Brokerage guarantees sellers get top dollar and buyers find the perfect home thanks to Broker/Owner GiGi Burk’s 30+ years of neighborhood experience and one-on-one attention as well as that of her “G-Force” team of realtors, which includes daughter and Marketing Manager Ellie Burk.

Meanwhile, Burk Construction & Development has exceeded expectations with its custom-build and renovation services built on 20 years of experience. Also creating beautiful, comfortable spaces is daughter Lacey Holdsworth, whose Oak + Arrow Interiors oversees large-scale renovations to one-room makeovers and is the principal interior designer for Burk Construction.

At Starlight Studios, a premier film studio campus, Billy’s brother Patrick serves as Director of Operations and fosters growth for the New Orleans film industry.

“The core of our purpose with these businesses is developing and cultivating relationships,” says Billy. “We cherish our relationships—past, present, and future—and know that all of our endeavors and positive impacts are part of something greater than ourselves.”
