NEW ORLEANS – On Nov. 2, Breeze Airways started a new seasonal route from New Orleans to Fort Myers. Fares on the new nonstop flights start from $39 one-way, if purchased by Nov. 7, 2023 for travel by Feb. 13, 2024.
Breeze also offers service from New Orleans to Bentonville-Fayetteville, AR; Charleston, SC; Louisville, KY; Norfolk, VA; Pittsburgh, PA; Raleigh-Durham, NC; Richmond, VA; as well as seasonal service to Hartford, CT; Jacksonville, FL; Los Angeles, CA; Orlando, FL; Savannah, GA; and Tulsa, OK.
“We’re happy to add our 14th destination from our base of operations in New Orleans,” said Breeze Airways’ President Tom Doxey. “This new route will allow guests to more easily and affordably travel from the Big Easy to the Sunshine State and enjoy the wonderful beaches that Fort Myers has to offer this winter.”
Breeze Airways began service in May 2021. It offers a mix of more than 150 year-round and seasonal nonstop routes between 38 cities in 23 states. It was founded by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman.
