Boys Town Louisiana To Host Charitable Fundraiser To Help Children In Foster Care, Bowl-A-Palooza

NEW ORLEANS – May is National Foster Care Month. In recognition, Boys Town Louisiana is hosting Bowl-A-Palooza, a charitable fundraiser dedicated to recognizing the role we each can play in enhancing the lives of children in foster care.

         The afternoon event, on Sunday, May 15, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., will feature food, musical entertainment by Tank and the Bangas plus DJ Raj Smoove, MC Wild Wayne and special guests, a silent auction, door prizes and the chance to interact with the Boys Town children and their families at Rock ‘n’ Bowl, 3016 S. Carrolton Ave.

         The public is invited to share in this special fundraising event by securing a lane time, becoming a Bowl-A-Palooza event sponsor or by purchasing individual tickets for $25.

         Sponsors for the 2016 Bowl-A-Palooza include: Valero St. Charles Refinery and Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Foundation.

         With the support of community partners, Boys Town Louisiana is able to continue the important work that Father Flanagan started nearly a century ago. Father Flanagan founded Boys Town in 1917, giving abandoned boys a home and hope for the future and today Boys Town continues to serve countless boys and girls across the nation.

         Boys Town Louisiana was founded in 1989 and has been providing a secure family environment where troubled children are able to overcome past trauma, learn new skills and make plans for stable, healthy futures.
