Boys Town Louisiana To Host Bowl-A-Palooza Charitable Fundraiser

NEW ORLEANS – May is National Foster Care Month. In recognition, Boys Town Louisiana is hosting Bowl-a-Palooza, a charitable fundraiser dedicated to recognizing the role we each can play in helping save children and heal families in our community.

The afternoon event takes place Sunday, May 15, at Rock N Bowl, 3000 S. Carrollton Ave., from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and will feature “delightful bites” from area restaurants, musical entertainment by Tank and the Bangas plus DJ Raj Smoove, MC Wild Wayne and special guests, a silent auction, door prizes and the chance to interact with the Boys Town children and their families.

The public is invited to share in this special fundraising event by becoming a Bowl-A-Palooza event sponsor or by purchasing individual tickets for $25. The public’s support will have an immense impact on children and families in need, event reps said.

“Generous donations raised from fundraising events, such as Bowl-a-Palooza, allow us to remain strongly positioned to help save children and heal families in our community and throughout Louisiana,” said Dennis Dillon, Ph.D., executive director, Boys Town Louisiana.
