NEW ORLEANS – BNI Louisiana/ Mississippi has received three awards that recognize BNI’s growth and success in Louisiana and Mississippi. The awards were presented at the BNI National Conference held in Savannah, GA.
The BNI Hall of Fame Award celebrates BNI chapters that reach and maintain more than 50 members. In Louisiana, the BNI Wealth In Networking Chapter was recognized. The Metairie-based chapter boasts 55 members who meet weekly to grow their business through referral networking.
The BNI Top Net Growth in Chapters Award recognizes the significant chapter growth in both the North Louisiana and Central and South Mississippi regions. BNI Louisiana/ Mississippi currently has 56 chapters made up of local business professionals who excel in a number of professional specialties.
“We are proud to be recognized among our BNI colleagues for the success we’ve seen in 2014,” said Tim Paulin, BNI Executive Director. “Our progress is the result of the determination and drive of thousands of business professionals who are committed to the Givers Gain philosophy and helping others achieve success through the referral marketing process.”
In 2014, BNI Louisiana/ Mississippi members passed more than 40,000 referrals, which resulted in approximately $38.5 million in closed business reported by members.
