Blue Cross Shares Drug Safety Tips on Facebook Live

Iabaqc66 400x400 300x300BATON ROUGE – As families continue to spend more time in their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana urges everyone to be aware of medication safety.

To share tips from experts, Blue Cross will host Drug Safety at Home, a Facebook Live event, at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 30. They will explain why it’s important to secure your medications and how you can safely get rid of unused or expired prescriptions. Their tips can help you keep your family safe by preventing drug misuse, abuse or overdose.

You can send in questions on the Blue Cross Facebook page ahead of the event or while watching live. They will answer questions as time permits.
