NEW ORLEANS – BioScrip Infusion Services, Inc., formerly CarePoint Partners, recently welcomed its newest clinical liaison, Justin Theriot, RN, BSN, VA-BC, to its Ambulatory Infusion Suite in New Orleans. Details were shared in a press release.
“I am excited to be part of the talented New Orleans BioScrip team. I’m confident that as a team, we will continue to achieve the best in patient care and provide innovative solutions to patients and physicians,” said Theriot.
With more than 13 years of nursing experience and proficiency in both the cath lab and peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) line placement, Theriot has spent the majority of his career focusing on critical care. He has held various leadership roles, recently serving on the “CLABSI and CAUTI” board at West Jefferson Medical Center.
Area vice president of operations Kim Harvey said, “I’m thrilled to welcome Justin to the BioScrip team in New Orleans. He will advocate for patients throughout their experience, creating a strong link between those receiving treatment and their care.”
Theriot has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including the Daisy Award at Tulane Medical Center and Top Producer in sales and PICC lines placed throughout the Gulf Coast region in 2017 and 2018. Theriot joins BioScrip’s vast network of locations throughout the region: New Orleans, Covington, Hammond, Lafayette, Houma, Lake Charles, Baton Rouge and Jackson, Mississippi, among others.
Theriot graduated from Charity School of Nursing in 2007, earned a bachelor of science from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2009 and board certification in vascular access in 2017. A New Orleans native, he is a member of the My Padnas nonprofit organization, which focuses on community involvement and hosting benefits for local families in need.
