NEW ORLEANS – The Bureau of Governmental Research has retained the executive search firm LeadChange to lead its search for a new President and CEO. A search committee has been formed to manage and oversee the search for a new leader. The committee is chaired by BGR's Vice Chairman, Hardy Fowler.
The President and CEO of BGR leads and directs a team of research professionals, analyzes government policies, finance, management and administration, presents the facts to the public, and advocates for the implementation of BGR recommendations. The President and CEO is a key “voice” in the region helping to inform public policy for the greater good of the New Orleans metropolitan area.
LeadChange’s initial search is expected to take approximately three to four months. Josh Wimberley, Founder and CEO of LeadChange, will lead the search along with New Orleans native Katie Frame.
“We are honored to be awarded this critical assignment for the Bureau of Governmental Research,” said Frame. “This role impacts the most essential facets of the New Orleans community and the State of Louisiana. We will be conducting a national search to recruit the absolute best candidate for this opportunity.”
BGR is a private, nonprofit, independent research organization. Since its founding in 1932, it has been dedicated to informed public policy-making and the effective use of public resources in the Greater New Orleans area.
