With this donation, the book festival’s team will be able to provide books by festival authors and other valuable classroom supplies, to every public school in New Orleans. These additional supplies are needed by so many amid the COVID-19 pandemic as schools navigate returning to in-person learning.

“Jeff is a staunch advocate for literacy in our country, especially when it comes to the youth of America, and we are extremely grateful to him for his generosity and ardent support for our book festival.” His contributions will further our mission of hosting one of the nation’s premier literary events in New Orleans,” said Isaacson.

The 2022 New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University, a new major literary event for the Crescent City, will kick off its inaugural weekend, March 10-12, 2022, on Tulane’s uptown campus. The three-day event will showcase nearly 100 national, regional and local authors. The author line-up for the 2022 book festival can be found here.
