NEW ORLEANS – Betsie Gambel, founder of Gambel Communications, has been chosen one of just 36 women in the U.S. to receive PRWeek's "Champions of PR" award.
"PRWeek sent out a call to nominate women, whether senior leaders or account executives, who represent the gold standard in the industry,” the magazine wrote. “From more than 200 stellar nominations, this list represents a group that consistently sets the bar higher within the practice of PR and through their philanthropic efforts."
Gambel Communications was founded seven years ago this month, and has since collected a host of local, regional and national PR industry honors including SBA Women in Business Champion of the Year and first Louisianian named to the PR Hall of Fame.
