NEW ORLEANS – The law firm of Baker Donelson will host the Spring 2015 Meeting of the International Franchise Association's Franchise Business Network on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Baker Donelson, 201 St. Charles Ave., Suite 3600, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
“Navigating Your Course in the Changing World of Franchise HR,” will share insights on efforts to educate the public on the impact of recent regulatory actions, including how to navigate the treacherous waters surrounding human resources issues in franchising in light of recent NLRB and Department of Labor positions regarding joint employer status and franchisor responsibility for franchisee HR functions. You will also hear how and when outsourcing might present an alternative strategy for franchise employers in light of those rulings.
Baker Donelson hosts this quarterly networking event to bring franchisors, franchisees and industry suppliers together for substantive programming and conversation on the latest business and legislative developments in the franchise world.
