NEW ORLEANS – Baker Donelson announced the arrival of Colleen Jarrott to the Firm's Business Litigation and Energy Groups.

Jarrott joins Baker Donelson in the New Orleans office, where she concentrates on civil litigation and regulatory matters concerning oil and gas law in Louisiana. She serves as counsel to independent and major oil and gas companies, representing her clients in lawsuits, as well as before regulatory bodies including the Louisiana State Mineral and Energy Board, the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and the Louisiana Public Service Commission. She handles some acquisition work of onshore and offshore assets, and also provides counsel to industry trade associations and oil and gas companies regarding environmental and energy law and policy. She is listed in the 2016 edition of Louisiana Super Lawyers and is a fellow of the Louisiana Bar Foundation and a member of the Louisiana State Bar, Federal Bar, New Orleans Bar and Energy Bar Associations. Jarrott co-authors a bi-monthly article, "Recent Developments: Mineral Law Update" in the Louisiana Bar Journal and is a former president and founding board member of the South Louisiana Chapter of the Women's Energy Network.
