Veronika Lee Claghorn

Veronika Lee Claghorn was born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia. While pursuing her undergraduate degree in English at The University of Pennsylvania, she wrote for The Daily Times and Daily Pennsylvanian before taking a job casting for M. Night Shyamalan. She worked in film and television in New York City for several years before returning to her journalism roots at Backstage, an entertainment industry trade publication. Since relocating to New Orleans to become the next Anne Rice, she has served as digital editor for OffBeat, a columnist for Antigravity and a contributor to The Grammys. She plays guitar and sings in the rock band My Cousin Christina, rides horses whenever she can, obsesses over Real Housewives and has a tortie cat named Problem.
