Ashley McLellan

Ashley McLellan is the editor of New Orleans Magazine and New Orleans Home, associate editor of Louisiana Life and a contributor to Biz New Orleans Magazine. With more than 25 years of experience editing and writing for local and national magazines, newspapers and digital media, she has won multiple awards from the International Regional Magazine Association (IRMA) and the New Orleans Press Club. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Pontypridd in Wales, and is a graduate of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI) and Leadership Jefferson. She also holds a Diplôme de Sabreur from the Confrerie du Sabre d’Or, and will saber a bottle of Champagne in exchange for a glass of bubbly. When not listening to her favorite podcasts or besting the New York Times Spelling Bee, she enjoys spending time with her two boys, running the streets of New Orleans and marching with several Carnival krewes.
