AT&T Names Regional Director For Southeast Louisiana

 

NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans native Michael Ruffin has been named Regional Director for AT&T Southeast Louisiana, including New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, the Northshore, Houma and surrounding areas. In this role, Michael will represent AT&T and its operations team to local governments and organizations throughout the region. He replaces Leo Marsh who retired from AT&T in 2017 after 35 years of service.

Michael comes to AT&T from Caesars Entertainment. Over the course of his career, Michael has held various positions in New Orleans with the Mayor’s Economic Opportunity Strategy and the Mayor’s Office of Supplier Diversity. He is also a 2016 fellow of the Center for Urban Families in Baltimore, MD and a 2012-2013 Mayoral Fellow for Saving Our Sons in New Orleans. Michael has experience in operations, workforce development, and strategic planning.

Ruffin holds an executive masters degree in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Xavier University. A member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., he is also a graduate of Frederick A. Douglass High School in New Orleans.
