CHALMETTE, LA – Tim Nee has been named quality manager of the Domino Sugar Chalmette Refinery. He will be responsible for managing and leading the Quality Department in implementing ongoing quality improvement processes, as well as overseeing all food safety and quality audit programs for the Chalmette Refinery, which employs 400 people and produces more than 7 million pounds of sugar a day.
Prior to joining ASR Group, the owner of Domino Sugar, Nee worked as Quality Systems Manager for McCormick (Zatarain’s) in New Orleans. He holds a bachelor of business administration from Florida Atlantic University and a Food Science Certificate from Washington State University. Nee is currently completing the Executive MBA program at Tulane University.
Leavon Robinson has been named Human Resources Manager of the Domino Sugar Chalmette Refinery. He will be responsible for employee relations, succession and workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, compliance and training at the Chalmette Refinery.
Prior to joining ASR Group, Robinson worked at a chemical company in Texas, where he served as labor-relations leader.
